Job Position – Team Leader / Senior Team Leader
Business type – Non-voice / Semi voice
Location – Dhaka, Bangladesh
Experience – 6 – 8 years in Freight Forwarding

Salary – Package to include attractive remuneration
Shift time: 15:00 to 1:00 (3 PM to 1 AM Local time)


  • Graduate in any discipline with min 50% aggregate.

Job Description:

  • Manage a team of 5-10 associates. Needs to ensure team is meeting / exceeding productivity and quality targets on a regular basis
  • Quality Checking – Verify transactions processed by Associates and ensure 100% accuracy before sending to customer
  • Process min number of transactions by self on a daily basis to be on par with process, tool and updates
  • Work according to SOPs published by client
  • Handling cross training responsibilities with timely queue completion
  • Ability to coach and bring out the best
  • Conduct 1:1s, Coach and train on a daily basis
  • Responsible for knowledge sharing
  • Analyse and authorize distributions to ensure completeness, quality and prompt resolution to meet departmental time standards on a daily basis
  • Manage / Approve leaves within team and ensure shrinkage is within limits / min headcount is available on a daily basis
  • Drafting queries to Business Area when necessary
  • Responding to email questions from associates, customers and stakeholders
  • Weekly meetings with other Associates to resolve issues and clarify procedures/ processes
  • Additional activities would include periodic TNA assessments, initiating daily huddle and assisting supervisor to accomplish effective queue plans basis request of work.


  • Knowledge of Ocean / Air Import (USA) would be an added advantage
  • Good Knowledge of Freight Forwarding
  • Should have worked on SOPs / according to SOPs published by client
  • Self-Starter, should be able step up and present / drive ideas to change
  • Should be people oriented, ensure team is united and sort out issues / differences, if/as soon as they arise
  • Should be able to keep the team motivated at all times and report any Red / Amber cases to manager
  • Should be a task master; ensure task is performed for self & team within stipulated timelines, without reminders
  • Should possess good working knowledge on MS office (Word, Excel and PPT).
  • Should possess good communication skills
  • Should be flexible to work beyond regular hours of work if and when needed.
  • Experience in transitions / project management would be an added advantage
